What this service covers
Fleet safety inspections give operators a structured way to record vehicle condition, defects and required follow-up work. Humber Assist can attach the inspection to the fleet vehicle, mileage, depot and account so any resulting repair or maintenance booking has the same source record.
When this service is useful
The inspection workflow is useful for scheduled condition checks, driver-reported defects, preventive maintenance programmes and vehicles returning from intensive use. It does not replace statutory inspection obligations where a specific legal or operator requirement applies.
What to have ready before booking
Provide the vehicle list, inspection location, mileage where available and any known driver reports. Fleet accounts can define purchase-order or approval processes for defects that require repair after inspection.
How Humber Tyre & Rescue handles the booking
Inspection findings can be recorded with photographs and notes, then separated into urgent defects, planned maintenance and observations. Where repair work is required, a linked booking or job can be raised instead of losing the finding in an email.
Assessment, authorisation and quality control
Inspection criteria should match the vehicle type and the fleet's obligations. Humber Tyre & Rescue does not substitute generic website text for statutory maintenance schedules, manufacturer information or the professional judgement required for safety-critical defects.
Fleet and commercial use
The value of Fleet 360 is continuity: inspection findings, previous roadside incidents, tyres, batteries, service dates and repairs can be viewed against the same vehicle. This helps identify recurring issues and plan maintenance with more context.
Book or request help
Fleet customers can discuss inspection requirements during account setup or request planned inspections through Fleet 360 where enabled for their account.
