What this service covers
Fleet body repair requests can be managed through the same Fleet 360 system used for roadside, tyre and maintenance work. The aim is to capture the vehicle, damage, photographs, location and account authority before the repair is planned.
When this service is useful
Suitable planned work can include cosmetic or non-emergency body damage, accident-damage assessment and repair coordination. Where damage could affect roadworthiness, occupant safety or the vehicle's ability to operate securely, it should not be treated as routine cosmetic work.
What to have ready before booking
Send multiple clear photographs, registration, vehicle model, incident details where relevant, depot location and the fleet contact responsible for approval. This gives the repairer better information before arranging inspection or collection.
How Humber Tyre & Rescue handles the booking
Body work normally requires assessment before the final repair method and price are confirmed. The booking can therefore move from request to inspection, quote, authorisation and scheduled repair while keeping the same fleet reference.
Assessment, authorisation and quality control
Photographs help triage but cannot prove the absence of hidden damage. Any change discovered during strip-down or inspection should be documented and returned for authorisation if it changes the agreed cost or repair scope.
Fleet and commercial use
Fleet account controls such as purchase orders, approval limits, cost centres and invoice history remain available for body repairs. This gives operators one administrative route for a wider range of vehicle work.
Book or request help
Use the secure Fleet 360 portal for planned body repair requests. If a damaged vehicle is stranded or unsafe, use the emergency roadside/recovery process instead.
