Vehicle servicing with a proper digital service record

Humber Tyre & Rescue offers planned Interim, Full and Major vehicle servicing. Recommended starting prices are Interim from £139, Full from £189 and Major from £259. The confirmed quote depends on registration, engine, oil specification, oil capacity and vehicle-specific filters or scheduled items.

Interim service — from £139

Designed for higher-mileage use or maintenance between annual services. It includes engine oil and oil-filter replacement plus structured checks of key safety and wear items.

Full service — from £189

A broader annual service with the Interim scope plus expanded inspection and scheduled service items appropriate to the vehicle. The exact filter and fluid scope is confirmed against the vehicle rather than assumed.

Major service — from £259

The most extensive Humber scheduled-service level. It builds on the Full service and reviews the additional filters, fluids and maintenance items due at the vehicle's major interval.

Digital service sheet

Every service can record vehicle identity and mileage, oil specification and quantity, fitted parts, fluid condition, tyres, brakes, steering, suspension, lights, wipers, battery, leaks, underbody observations, measurements, road-test result, service-light reset, advisories and any additional work requiring customer authorisation.

No silent extra work

If inspection identifies work outside the agreed service scope, it is recorded as an advisory or additional-work request. It should be quoted and authorised before being added to the job.

Important

Manufacturer schedules differ. The vehicle-specific maintenance schedule and correct fluid/part specifications take precedence over a generic checklist.

Common questions

How do I know which service level to choose?

The appropriate level depends on the vehicle, mileage, service history and maintenance schedule. Send those details if you are unsure and the request can be reviewed before confirmation.

Can I add known faults to a service booking?

Yes. Record warning lights, noises or known concerns with the booking. Additional repair work should still be assessed and authorised separately from the agreed service scope.

Will the service be added to the vehicle history?

The platform is designed to keep completed maintenance events, mileage and future due information against the vehicle record when those details are recorded by staff.
